Service Compagnie (SERCO) was founded in July 1999 in Pau, South-West of France, for machining services, rental of down-hole tools and for the provision of fishing and remedial services for the drilling sites nearby. In 2000, the Company was Licensed by the American Petroleum Institute for threading of casing and tubing, rotary-shouldered connections, and manufacture of drill stem components (API 5CT, API 6A, API 7-1).

By increasing the capacity of the facility in the following years, SERCO started processing and manufacturing a wide range of fishing and down-hole tools on its own. Branded with the name of SERCO, our products have quickly gained recognition with the customers for excellent performance, quality and durability.

After 2005, SERCO went international and was soon active in Europe, North and West Africa and the Middle East, focusing on junior oil and gas companies.

In 2010, the Company decided to decrease its remedial services in the field, and to focus on the fabrication of specialized down-hole tools, which remains one of the business lines of SERCO today.

In 2011, SERCO has set new ambitious objectives : it was decided to concentrate our activities on Oil Country Tubular Goods and related products, by increasing significantly the scope of our Licenses including now manufacturing of OCTG couplings and accessories, and by launching a brand new production site in Pau. This state-of-the art machine shop is by far the most modern and one of the biggest in the South-West of France dedicated to manufacture of OCTG, accessories and down-hole tools.

Located in the proximity of Pau international airport and main motorways, within driving distance from the ports on the Atlantic coast of France and Spain, SERCO is fully geared up for the business in Europe and abroad.
